I am a teacher who has applied the maths in practical application. I have worked in an engineering company. My methods will include working on the core foundation before working on the advanced concepts. I will use techniques to remember important formulas and teach steps to identify where to use particular formulas. Mathematics can be broken down into 3 steps. Devising a logic to solve the problem. Identifying which formula to apply and solving the equation after applying the formula. Different student struggle with different steps. Hence it is important to identify the challenge the student is facing and working on those challenges.
