I will start tutoring by identifying problem areas that the student requires help with. I will then teach any relevant theory using examples and real-life applications where appropriate. I will keep lessons interactive and engaging, encouraging the student to come to conclusions themselves, while providing the help to keep them going in the right direction. It is essential to be able to solve problems in order to consolidate and improve understanding, as well as prepare for examinations and so I will provide tasks for the student to complete and critically evaluate solutions with the student to find where they might be going wrong, and what they can do to fix it.
