My lessons can either take place in real life or will take place remotely over Microsoft Teams or Google Meets. I will initially go over your curriculum and give you a general test meant for students doing your course or your year group before I start focussing on specific topics. This is done to evaluate your current abilities and potential things that need to be worked on. This gives me an idea on topics I would thoroughly go through with you and topics that need to only be looked at briefly. The lesson will be split into half: one part will be dedicated to learning the concepts and the different methods and the second part will be dedicated to doing past paper questions and different exercises. As well as doing pass paper questions, I am happy to go over questions from school or a topic you are currently doing at school, that you are struggling with. After every topic we go over, we will do a topic test to test your knowledge and new understanding of the topic.
I have previously had experience mentoring students in a maths club. I assisted them with homework and topics they were not to sure about. I also went through test papers with them. I am currently a student who does a maths based degree which means that I am able to resonate and understand the process of learning concepts. This allows me to explain things at a level you can easily understand in order to ease the learning process.
