I lived in Spain for 17 years, where I went to school and learned the language pretty quickly. I like to speak it but don’t always get the chance so I like to take every opportunity I can!
I currently work as a teaching assistant in a primary school and have been doing so for 2.5 years, I have experience teaching SEND children in a 1-1 setting and also class teaching. I am flexible with time as I only work school hours and have half terms and bank holidays off.
My lessons will be structured around genuine conversational English as I feel you get the best opportunity to learn the language. I will take situations that you may encounter depending on the age. For example if a child needs to ask for help at school or had a medical condition they need to explain. I believe bringing games into learning is very effective as it helps the memory. I aim to make sure my students have fun in the lesson and look forward to the next, as there’s nothing better than having something to look forward to aswel as learning something new!
