I base my lessons on the topics the student feels vulnerable in, to build a foundation. Then, attempt some questions from practice and past papers to solidify their knowledge and lock in their new skills. If the student still does not feel confident, I prepare them some tasks to complete to better grasp the understanding of the topic.
My experience comes from years and years of being curious and impatient to learn subjects in school, which ultimately led to me tutoring my peers and mentoring younger students in Maths, English, French and sometimes even Physics. Although a humanities student, I have more than thorough understanding of Mathematics, especially needed for GCSE exam preparation.
