One-to-one online lessons in a friendly environment where I will guide you through your learning of Italian based on your level. I have worked as a teaching assistant in an Italian school and lived in the UK for the last 6 years. I am currently a Fashion Marketing&Communications student and a supervisor/team leader in a high-end store. I have been asked by customers multiple times to teach them the language since I am fluent in both. Students would describe me as easygoing, kind, with a can-do attitude, a supportive teacher passionate about art, fashion and literature. I am half British but taught myself the language a few years ago therefore I completely understand the mission that learning a different language is and genuinely want to make your journey easier and enjoyable! My accent is not particularly strong so our conversation will flow naturally. Funnily enough, it gets mistaken for an Australian accent sometimes!
My aim is to teach you the language as well as the culture through grammar, literature, conversations that are organic and in modern Italian (just how they would speak in the streets of Milan or Rome!), and also through media and music. By training your ear to new sounds, you will familiarise yourself with the language much quicker! Expect writing, speaking and listening exercises. I will send you a copy of the lesson and some exercises each time! Take notes, ask questions, I will help you, keep you motivated and guide you through this beautiful and rewarding journey! We will make sure next time you will visit Italy, you will make your gelato order correctly, be able to converse with locals and sing along to the music on the radio (not just to “Sarà perché ti amo”!) :)
