Daniel Williams

My lessons will be fun and engaging. I am patient with students especially in the learning of new content. Practice makes better is a policy I promote as I believe every obstacle can be conquered with hard work and determination. I will expect my pupil to work as hard as they can. However, to do this I understand they have to want it so my job will be making the subject easier and more attractive to them so they fall in love with it like I did.

My lessons aim to target the weaknesses of an individual and when it is brought to light we can work on improving it. I belief fears are only overcome when they are faced. When my pupils come across a problem in their solving and they are stuck, I don't give them the answer, however, I encourage them to view the problem from different perspectives so they can find out the solution themselves which I believe is a more efficient method of strengthening their confidence.

I will push my students to their limits and past it. One thing I have learned in my years of study is that the brain is a muscle and it develops from constant use. I have a little sister in Year 10 that I help with her Maths school work and I help her using various methods as I understand the uniqueness of people. Different people will work better with different methods. I also helped my classmates back in school when they were stuck on a problem and they have seen improvements in their overall grade.
