I have a Master's degree in Psychology, I have a good understanding of all modules of psychology taught at secondary school, Sixth form and University. I specialize in Psychological Research methods and evolutionary psychology.
I have six years experience of teaching, and I like to make my classes engaging. Rather than a lecture based approach which can become a little tedious after time, I like to plan classes that allow students to seek out information through guided discovery and to clear up any difficulties or questions that arise.
I prefer this method as there is clear data to show that it is beneficial for encoding and retaining information learned in the classroom. I am a very patient teacher, and understand that classes may be difficult for new students, particulary those relating to research methods involving large datasets.
