Daniel Thomas

I am currently studying a masters degree at the university of Birmingham in Chemistry. This involves extensive amount of Maths and I achieved 100% in my Maths module. I have achieved a grade A in both A-Level and GCSE as well as an upper second class honours degree in chemistry. I have previous tutoring experience tutoring KS3 up to GCSE.

My methods involve interactive lessons with lots of examples and quizzing them with lots of fun interactive techniques. I then like to move onto past paper questions in areas in which my student is struggling in to consolidate there learning and master exam technique and different styles of questions.

The content I teach is often topics that my student presents to me with what they have struggled with, maybe some questions they have struggled with and I will go through the topic with examples finishing off with exam questions. If my student presents me with no topics I go over the main topics in which I see are big areas of the curriculum where extra work on those areas would be a massive help in achieving outstanding grades.

My previous pupil managed to go from a grade 3 in their mock up to grade 6 in their final GCSE exams
