I am a professional Math teacher with more than twenty years experience in teaching at various levels including Middle School,High School and College.My passion for Mathematics is to help students understand the basic concepts in mathematics and they will perform well at any level they study Mathematics. This is what drives me to impart my teaching methodologies in math.. l am with Ghana Education Service,where l have been teaching for more than twenty years. I also teach on University of Cape Coast's Distance Education Program where l am a Senior Tutor. Some of the courses l teach on the Distance Program, which is methods of teaching basic school Mathematics , Methods of teaching Middle School Mathematics and methods of teaching High School Mathematics has made me a better teacher. Some of our teachers tough,good in math do have the required skills to teach well for students to understand as l train teachers to teach A survey l conducted informally also reviews that most of the math books we see are just content and the methods part is not seen. I am on this platform to basically help solve the problems of students having the phobia for math through using appropriate methodology and intervention for students to overcome the phobia at an early age . This helps the students journey in math to be smooth to any level he or she wants to take math to. But l also teach students who have developed some concepts and those who are very good in math .
