Daniel Rosser

Hello. My name is Daniel. I taught English in Japan for six years. I now live back in the UK, but I really miss teaching and want to continue inspiring students to study English! I taught a wide range of ages and nationalities whilst in Japan so I have a lot of experience across all types of students and lessons. I taught children as young as preschoolers all the way up to senior citizens. I gave lessons in many kinds of settings from schools to cafés, to the offices of multinational companies. My philosophy is that studying English needs to take place in a relaxed and friendly environment in order to be effective. I have seen nervous students become confident English users throughout the course of a lesson. Because of this, I pride myself on creating a fun and friendly atmosphere for lessons, while never compromising on the quality of teaching. I have taught every kind of English lesson, from teaching business English to the operations manager of an international airport, to relaxed conversational English to retirees, to preparing high school and junior high school students for their English exams. This flexibility allows the student to decide on whatever type of English study they think is best for them, and I can give study advice tailored for each student's specific needs.
