I have a first class bachelor’s degree in philosophy and classics from The Open University, where I studied a wide range of topics such as ethics, metaphysics, logic, ancient history, literature, and culture. I am currently studying a Philosophy MA at Birkbeck University. In my BA I achieved a distinction in every module as well as an exceptional mark of 98 in my Latin and Roman Culture module. I have always been intellectually driven and have experience in learning efficiently and effectively.

My teaching style is enthusiastic, explorative, and attentive. I aim to inspire my students to discover the beauty and relevance of philosophy and ancient languages, and to help them develop their critical thinking and analytical skills. I tailor my lessons to suit the needs and interests of each student, and I provide them with regular feedback and guidance.

I can teach English, Philosophy and Ancient Languages at various levels, from beginners to intermediate and have a strong knowledge of GCSE and A level Syllabi. I can help students with exam preparation, essay writing, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, translation, and comprehension. I can also introduce students to the rich cultural and historical context of philosophy and ancient languages, and show them how they can apply their knowledge to contemporary issues.

I believe that learning can be not only intellectually rewarding, but also enjoyable. I use a variety of resources and methods to make my lessons engaging and interactive, such as games, quizzes, videos, podcasts, key texts, and images. I also encourage my students to express their own opinions and perspectives, and to engage in lively discussions with me and with each other.

If you are looking for a tutor who can help you achieve your academic goals, while also making your learning experience enjoyable and meaningful, then I am the right tutor for you.
