I believe that the difficulty in maths depends on the teacher my student is given and I ensure that I will try my best to guarantee the highest grade possible. Instead of acting as a lecturer, who just spits information, I will guide students when teaching the topic, letting them gain full independence when the student and I feel that they understood the subject well enough. I can teach both year 1 and year 2 Pure, Statistics and Mechanics for the A Level Maths course as well as GCSE higher and foundation maths. For revision, I will focus on the topic that my student wants to revise until he understands and gets questions that will usually be asked on the paper correct. In addition, I will teach them exam techniques that their exam board requires as I have recently done my GCSEs and A Level Maths. During summer, I can teach them content that they will do in the next school year (E.G: teach them year 11 content as they move from year 10 to year 11). I will tackle the course in a way that the most important topics, such as calculus, will be taught rigorously as well as being the first topics being taught which will not only teach them the content but will teach them the importance of each topic within the exam. Furthermore, I will provide revision techniques to ensure that my student can understand the topic even if I’m not tutoring them or between sessions.
