I have studied Spanish since 2015 when I picked it up in school and instantly fell in love with it! I fell in love with the culture around the language and the different dialects that make up the Spanish speaking world. During the second half of 2022 I was working in Bogotá, Colombia, for an NGO which specialised in mine-action, and I was a translator and interpreter into Spanish there during my time. I have also been teaching GCSE Spanish online for around a year in order to help fund my time at University with a student of mine winning his school's Spanish prize in May 2023.
I am also able to teach from primary school level all the way up to adults looking to become conversational or even fluent. I will be able to prepare material for the classes on a wide range of topics before the lesson, including daily routine, preferences, how to express oneself and even to more complex topics such as politics. Additionally, if there are other topics you would like to explore such as more cultural topics, including specific festivals within the Spanish-speaking world, or why some countries have different accents to others, and how they have formed, then just let me know:) However please feel free to bring your own material for the class if there are more specific targets you have, like a frustrating grammar problem (the most painful thing...) or even issues with pronunciation, I am more than happy to help!
I look forward to teaching and meeting you!
