I'm a big advocate for student-centered learning for Tutoring.

I believe that if you are looking for a Tutor you are looking for specific answers to specific issues. They might be broader ( I don't understand how the circulatory system works!) or more specific (How does the Krebs Cycle even make sense!?) I believe in tailoring the lesson to your needs, and guiding you to understand the concepts that are proving difficult.

I provide very engaging lessons, will ask questions and strive to make you participate throughout the lesson. Learning is an active process, so I won't give a monologue during an hour spilling a textbook speech.

I will give examples, metaphores and share my own experiences and what helped me, my colleagues or previous student's learn the very same topic you might or not be struggling with.

My goal here is to provide the blueprints so the student can establish the logical conections between the different topics, understand them and therefore learn.

Biology is a scienceof systems. Multiple pieces have their function in one or more systems, and their role to play. Understanding each piece of the puzzle will illustrate how the bigger picture, looks, works and interacts with other systems.

My intention is to guide my student throughout each of these pieces, until their vision of the systems of Biology is clear. And I intend to do this on a personalized manner, and adapt my knowledge and skills to the needs of my student. Everyone needs their own way, and I will do my best to get as close as posible.
