I have always encouraged my students to further their knowledge and experience in every field possible. I believe it is the best way to improve one's self and confidence in taking on new and more rewarding challenges. So following my advice I took to improving myself and took a TESOL course. As you may be aware TESOL is a highly valued certificate indicating that the person who took on such instruction has passed with an efficient understanding of how best to teach those who are learning English as a second language. The course has helped me to better myself by learning new techniques, class management and how to better support my student's learning. Combined with my years of experience in this area I believe that I am up to any challenge. Learning anything new for the first time or attempting to continue what you learned before can be difficult and stressful. It can be a trying time, especially for those who do not particularly enjoy a classroom environment. I can understand this. What I find is the best way to deal with these sorts of scenarios is about my choice of teaching. I believe that students should enjoy learning in a comfortable and relaxed environment. They should be able to laugh and express themselves. If a student were to be more open to their teachers then they will be able to absorb more information and learn much more quickly. I would like to assure my students that no one should feel stressed when wanting to study with me.
