I'm from Colombia, and I finished my undergraduate degree in chemistry in 2021. I believe the most important factors for teaching implicate the beginning, core, and ending part of the session; hence, It is essential to identify the students' theoretical knowledge, the specific questions they have about a subject, and based on that to establish the approach for helping them to solve the problem by guiding them and not giving them the answer, and keeping them motivated with a positive attitude. For this, it is necessary to make leading questions by not giving them any specific information to allow them to reach little goals and congratulate them for every step they make towards the final answer.
During my undergraduate degree, I performed tutoring classes in which I addressed organic chemistry subjects; therefore, with my colleagues, we distributed the topics to study before an exam. Moreover, I carried out different organic chemistry lectures as a requirement for some subjects; thus, I have acquired essential knowledge in this field. In addition, I performed my organic chemistry thesis in English; therefore, not only I wrote the corresponding document in English, but also I defended it, which helped me to acquire assertive communication skills and an understandable teaching capacity for different audiences.
