Hello to everyone! My name is Daniel, I am 22 years old and I have a degree in Civil and Environmental engineering from the best university of Colombia. I get great qualifications, winning a double Cum Laude (in both degrees) for my 4.52 GPA. I have experience teaching languages in a remote way since 2020, due to the pandemic. Actually, I work as Risk Engineer in an Insurance company and today, I want to share my experience with my recent Spanish lessons. As a native speaker, you might wonder why I'm taking them. However, I've found immense value in refining my understanding of the language's nuances and pedagogical approaches.
The lessons are structured with a dynamic blend of theory and practice. We delve into grammar, explore regional variations, and engage in lively conversations. The format is interactive, fostering a comfortable environment for both learning and discussion. I particularly appreciate the focus on practical application, through exercises that simulate real-life scenarios.
The content is rich and diverse, covering everything from formal writing to colloquial expressions. I've gained a deeper appreciation for the complexities of Spanish, even those I previously took for granted. The dynamics of the lessons are engaging, with the instructor using various tools and techniques to keep us motivated.
As a native speaker, it's been enlightening to see my language from a learner's perspective. It's reinforced my passion for Spanish and given me valuable insights into effective language teaching. I now have a broader understanding of how non native speakers learn spanish.
