As an experienced assistant lecturer at Staffordshire University, I have helped plenty of students understand the concepts and fundamentals of art, design, and illustration. I have worked with all sorts of people and understand that the best way to help creative minds grow is to nurture existing passions and to treat students with the same respect you would a colleague.

I intend to deliver a personalised tutoring experience based on each individual student to help you achieve your educational goals while finding ways to enjoy the process of creating and analysing visual work.

I have always had a passion for storytelling, character work, and book making, so our lessons together will likely include understanding of narrative, exploring why the tools we use work to communicate what we want to, and how to apply those skills and tools to a fully comprehensive piece of work or portfolio. Exploring a variety of techniques is essential to understanding your own abilities, so no lesson will be exactly the same!
