My lessons are rooted in creative exploration and inquiry! I am intentional about relationship building and establishing expectations to create a safe learning environment before any deeper learning takes place. Within each lesson, learners can expect routine, collaboration, and various forms of engagement (games, whole group discussion, independent work, etc.). Structurally, here's a little more detail:

- Welcome and check ins.
- Hook and introduction to learning topic(s).
- Learning intentions and success criteria
(what we're doing and why, and what you'll be able to do by the end of it).
- Teacher-led instruction: independent, partner, or whole group demos or discussion.
- Breaks and checkins - how are we doing so far?
- Independent work and one on one teacher opportunities.
- Review, reflection, goal setting.
- Agenda for the following class.
