Dan Rodgers

I have been working in the field of education for over 20 years. My previous UK based business was centered on running innovative music technology sessions across the South East of England for young people experiencing a range of behavioural and emotional issues. This included looked after children and young people at risk of or already within the justice system many of whom displayed challenging behavioural patterns.

For the previous 7 years I have worked for an established and well respected educational, developmental, and psychological support service based in Ho Chi Minh City. My duties included designing, managing and implementing intervention programs for children affected by developmental learning delays alongside behavioural and emotional problems.
The services provided were firmly rooted around ABA but incorporated a truly biopsychosocial approach utilising tools such as CBT, ACT, social and behavioural skills training and more.

I have taken up a new role as Special Educational Needs Coordinator at an international school here in Vietnam. My role includes identifying and assessing students with potential SEN needs, liaising and consulting with teachers around how best to support students as well as delivering 1:1 academic, psychological, social and behavioural support for students in need.

I graduated from Arden University UK with an honours degree in psychology and I am now on my way to completing a Masters in Business Psychology. I am constantly looking to improve myself, as such have undertaken numerous PD certificates and courses to sharpen my knowledge.

My teaching style is friendly and flexible. I relish opportunities to share knowledge as well as use teaching to further develop myself and my practice.
