I am a highly educated individual with over 20 years of experience working various industries in the United Kingdom including, but not limited to, Banking and Financial Services, Information Technology, public sector, e-commerce, and others.
I began my tutoring journey whilst studying for my Masters Degree in Investment Banking. I provided finance lessons to undergraduate students, most of whom spoke English as a foreign language. I tailored my sessions to each student's needs taking into account their English language proficiency.

My sessions are very interactive and whilst I prepare session material in advance, I am always flexible enough to accommodate a different direction if I find it suitable for my audience.

My preferred content is to cover real life events and current affairs that resonate more with my students and bring the learning journey to life. I find that picking an area of interest that my student is passionate about keeps them engaged throughout the session. I provid a theoretical context to the practical exercises that are carried out during sessions. I find interactive group work to be highly productive as I am able to draw out each student's qualities and areas of improvement.

At the end of each session, I provide 'take away' exercises for student to go and work on their own. They can then present these back on the next session and form part of an engaging discussion.

To test for progress, I utilise individual and group quizzes that provide me with feedback as to the absorption rate of the course material for my student. I also take on feedback from my students regarding what is working well for them and what I can improve upon to better provide a seamless learning journey.
