My maths knowledge goes up to A-Level Maths. My teaching style is highly interactive. I use different props and imagery to get students engaged as I believe children learn best when they are having fun. As a Mother of two myself I know how important learning is for children right from the word go, and how their learning style may change at different stages of their growth. It his is why I am committed to working closely with the children and parents to find the best and most suited style at every stage.

I also have 1 year experience teaching children between the ages of 1-2 English and basic maths such as counting 1-10, writing their names, spelling simple words and using phonetics.
Similarly I have experience teaching children between the age of 5-10 innovative ways to learn their times tables, addition and subtraction and in some cases where the children are more advanced, division, BIDMAS and fractions.

Lastly I will say it is extremely important for me to know exactly what you the parent and child expect out of the session with me. Do you aim for it to be a top up on their knowledge they get at school? Do they need extra lessons in addition to what they currently learning? Are you trying to give them a head start? Or do they simply need classes to prep them for an exam? Knowing this will help me better plan lessons and work with the parents to achieve the desired aim.
