Damien Anderson

Hello, my name is Damien Anderson. I have been playing the guitar for over 20 years and have constantly developed my technique and creativity. I see the guitar and music as an extension of myself as I have been able to express myself through this medium.
I have played in various bands and projects over the years and gained amazing stories and experience in the music industry, which I enjoy sharing with aspiring students. I am an easy and outgoing individual with a burning passion for music, which I hope to share with you. I have taught since 2014 with students achieving Rockschool grades and becoming professional musicians.
I currently work at a Secondary School, which allows me to continuously improve my teaching practice and develop practical resources for learning.
My professional home studio allows me to deliver high-quality online lessons to you in the comfort of your home. In-person classes will experience professional-quality recordings and reflect on their playing with your copy of your performance. I can tailor our lessons to meet your creative needs. Utilising individual lesson plans and a massive wealth of resources, we can explore and experiment with every element of guitar and music. We can explore any technique and musical style, even experimenting with different guitar tones using multi-effect and single-effect units.
I also record, self-produce and release music under the project name "Sylvania", which is a progressive metal project is use to push my creative boundaries and improve my technical abilities and songwriting skills.
