I have worked as a science tutor for the past year ranging from KS3 to year 12 students. I primarily use Microsoft OneNote and Zoom to teach remotely. I prefer to work around my students as opposed to creating a structured plan for the entire year. I tend to ask students what they are covering at school and following as such or covering whatever it is my student wishes to cover, whether that be getting ahead in certain areas or looking back and recapping to consolidate their understanding. The lessons themselves are more theory centred and typically will involve me explaining the concepts and then going through practice questions to allow for you to develop good exam techniques. I encourage all my students to interrupt me whenever they don't understand something that is being explained so that we can better focus on these areas.
