I've played guitar for over 25 years and absolutely love the instrument. I've been teaching guitar for nearly two decades.

I teach all age groups and cover many genres, but like to shape my lessons around what the student enjoys. I make my lessons fun, relaxed and enjoyable with a big focus on doing things at the pace of my student. I cover music theory, learning how to read music notation, improvisation as well as many other subjects and techniques.

I use about half of the lesson to cover the music theory side of things while shaping the other half of the lesson around what my student enjoys.

I tend to focus on half hour lesson slots as that provides just the right amount of time in our busy lives to go over a manageable amount of content. The hourly price would be adjusted for this. The guitar has helped me through my life and the joy it has brought me is what I hope to help others have in their lives too.
