All lessons will come with a designated lesson plan, emailed 24 hours beforehand.

Lessons typically include a content sheet, a worksheet and homework.

The content sheet is especially relevant to Literature where the content sheets can eventually act as a revision resource for students. Often the worksheets cover complex themes, motifs, symbolism, context, character analysis and quotes of a specific text. Language lessons often come with a content sheet which usually focuses' on exam technique and structure.

The worksheets will vary lesson to lesson however the aim of the task is to put a students knowledge into practise.

Homework will vary each week and is optional. However, it provides a unique opportunity for students to have regular feedback. I also encourage students to send me work that they have completed in school or for an assessment. This way we can focus our lessons on the students specific needs.

For primary school students, learning online, I often use interactive PowerPoints or whiteboards to ensure that the find the lesson fun!

A lesson typically lasts an hour, although a longer or shorter session can be requested. If I have not finished the planned content I will never cut the time off at the hour. This extra time will be free of charge.
