David Sinton

I have two years private tutoring experience teaching both in person and face to face lessons. My specialties are Economics and Philosophy at all levels right the way up to university level. I currently work as an economist in government so am constantly updating my knowledge. I also have a first class degree in the subject. This is along with a masters degree in philosophy. Throughout university I tutored a wide range of my fellow students of all levels of ability. This taught me that everyone has their own learning style and it is important to match the content of the lessons with the style of the student.
Regardless of learning style, a key part of my teaching is about boosting the confidence of students so they are able to produce their best work. For some students this involves rigorously working through past exam papers whereas others just want to debate the topic to get a better understanding. This flexible style keeps students challenged and engaged which means the lessons are as enjoyable as they can be.
I also maths tutoring up to GCSE level where I have a year of experience and all of my students achieved an A grade. Finally, I can with assistance with job applications and interview preparation to help students prepare for entering a competitive jobs market. My previous job involved providing employment mentoring services where i supported clients to write eye catching CV's and get fully prepared for interviews in order to land their desired jobs.
