I have experience both in teaching in a college and private candidates.
I find it extremely important to encourage students to become active learners who want to explore the wonder of science, question everything and think critically. During my teaching I always create a friendly classroom atmosphere where they can ask questions, have debates about ideas; where they enjoy studying and want to further explore even the more challenging questions.
I am always there as a good role model who has exceptional motivation to know and explore more. In this way my students always feel supported and encouraged to become outstanding.
I always make sure that I deliver creative lessons by producing newer and newer helper materials, creative resources, quizzes for my students (for example by using websites such as Kahoot, Seneca, Save_my_exams, Maths_made_easy, Revision_science), case studies from Science_cases, Your_genome_interactives, etc.)
I challenge them with questions, I want them to apply their knowledge, use their logic instead of just memorizing the content.
With my private students I can further adapt to individual needs. I continuously analyse how they could improve the most, and I discuss my ideas with the learners' parents before incorporating new strategies into the teaching style so the outcome is satisfactory to everyone.
As I also worked as a researcher I have a great insight into real life situations, I know how these experiments work, what it means to be in a laboratory. With this knowledge I can give invaluable examples to my students, they get to know science in a much deeper lever. They start to look at science in a different way, they enjoy seeing it around them in everyday life.
