I am a qualified TEFL teacher, qualified translator and interpreter for the English language and hold a Qualified Teaching Status both for the UK and also for EU, as I had obtained tenure for mainstream education (subjects: Modern languages , Literature and Humanities). I can also teach Spanish and French at Beginner- Intermediate levels.
I frequently use ESP jargons from business, administration, medical /health sectors to educational, literary and other technical areas, especially through my other jobs and through translating work. That makes me uniquely qualified to teach also Business English to (corporate) students. In my teaching I use the British English dialect, received pronunciation and mainly the more modern Communicative approach. But grammar is my strong suit.
I have strong exam preparation skills, including IELTS and Cambridge certificate as I used to do this especially in the past, quite a lot, as a private tutor. I' ve used one to one tutoring on online platforms for International students (during lockdowns).
