I never assume which format my students need. I always work with them to adapt my approach to them because I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Each person is different and learns differently, therefore my teaching is very different depending on what the child or adult needs.
What I always do, no matter who my student is, is make it fun and engaging for them.
Where the student is not too sure of their own preferences, I try to bring different elements in like music, films, immersive activities.
I create a safe space for the student to share what works and what doesn't so that I can continue to adapt my style to help them learn easily and in a very enjoyable way.
I have extensive experience working with children of all ages, and adults who want to learn Spanish for professional and/or personal reasons (such as being able to get by when they go on holiday).
I have helped secondary school students get the highest grades in GCSE (with the latest result being a 9) and A* for A-level exams. I not only help students with their language learning but help them with exam techniques such as timing, question prioritisation and more.
