As a tutor I usually take into account the struggles that the student has within the subject meaning the first thing that I will the student is their personal least favourite topics. This doesn’t mean that we were only focus on those topics as I believe in continued success to motivate the student but to strengthen your understanding of the subject we must target the main downfalls that you experience.

We will use all sorts of resources to both revise and learn such as timed tests, exam questions, brain dumps and slightly more fun things in the form of games.

I know that students often don’t want to be doing the subjects that they struggle in but I would do my best to make the lesson fun and engaging for every student so that by the end of the year when you are taking your GCSEs, you will get through them with a smile on your face or (probably in most cases) relief.
