My teaching sessions are always personalised and interactive, based on each learner's set of skills. I always provide formative support to learners and work on those areas that might require more in-depth language support. I am a firm believer that with the right support, anyone could learn the basics of a language in less than a month.
My teaching method uses an array of different techniques, such as communicative language teaching, where the learner will be put gradually in real life situations scenarios so that they can learn how to use their own language skills to communicate in the real world.
As students improve, such scenarios become more detailed including additional elements for language comprehension, such as adverbs, more adjectives and prepositions.
Once the learner has a good basic knowledge of the language, I focus on improving the grammatical aspect of the language taught.
Learning a language does not always require a lot of textbooks, a lot of resources and memorising grammar rules or vocabulary lists. LEARNING A NEW LANGUAGE IS FUN, is opening a new world and creates new opportunities to know new people and learn about that culture.
My natural approach to the language only needs creating a dynamic and interactive environment which immerses students in the repetition, some correction and recall of their target language.
As such, I focus on lessons delivered using a natural approach focused on understanding messages in the new language, and place some importance on error correction, drilling on unconscious learning of grammar rules.
These are some of my core principles of effective language teaching, that I apply to teaching and learning any modern language, such as English, Spanish, Romanian, French, or Chinese.
These effective teaching methods can be adapted to suit any language and any learner's needs.
