Lessons will be conducted online via zoom or similar. The first lesson will consist of a little about me, what English you are confident, what your aims are from learning with me.

We will then together come up with an action plan and time scale. There will be plenty of time to talk to me, don't worry about anything. I will use current learning resources that are appropriate to your level of English.

I am disability aware, due to being disabled and other experiences. You will get a copy of the action plan to follow, don't worry if we are not on time to hit the mile stones on the action plan as everyone learns at a different pace, you may work faster or slower than others and this is fine.

At the beginning of every session we will have a little chat about how you are doing, what you have worked on, reassess the strengths and struggles and we will work from there. If you do not understand anything at all, do not be afraid to ask me to repeat what I said or if it's in the learning materials ask what it means. After all you are learning for a reason and that is to understand English to a level you are comfortable with. As you can probably tell by what I have written, it is very person centered and that person is you!

You can share any information with me that you like and it will be treat with the uttermost confidence.
