The process of learning is individual and unique to each person. My lessons are successful because they focus on getting to know the student. As an effective teacher, I need to understand how each student learns so that I can adapt my style and teaching resources to the learner.

I specialise in supporting students who need the extra push to secure Grade 4/5 in GCSE English Language and/or Literature, often guiding them to secure a much higher grade that they initially expected.

My teaching methods range from providing levelled scaffolding, modelled examples, teaching mind mapping and developing useful memory aids to improving exam technique and building examination confidence.
