I have 9 GCSEs none in which are sociology! My love for sociology was obtained in A-levels where I studied Psychology, Geography and the best subject, sociology! I loved it so much I went on to do it at degree level at the university of Chichester, I did it as a joint bachelors of art with criminology which I loved just as much.
I like to make lessons fun, using colours! Different techniques! I like to make them interactive, my lessons are not just about me blabbing on, it is about engaging and learning together! I have history with tutoring before and I have had some work experience in the classroom and I am interested in becoming a teacher one day and so lets learn together!
The dynamics of my lessons will be pretty chill but not too chill (we have work to do :)), I want you to feel welcome around me and open to tell me what you need to go over but also tell me what content you are confident with.
My lessons will focus on whatever my student needs, for example, if a weakness in your studies is marxism, then this is what our lesson would be based on, but it is my aim to fit as much as we can into our lessons whilst also making sure that you retain the knowledge that is in the lesson. I will spend time in our lessons to figure out what works for you and we will use those techniques to help your studies.
