My aim as a French tutor is to teach in a relaxed and friendly way, using an array of materials to further the learning experience. I believe that if you have fun, you will learn quicker and retain your lessons a lot better. Therefore, I will always aim to prioritise your enjoyment alongside teaching French to achieve your goals.

I have lived in England since 1984 and qualified with a second upper class Business Studies Degree at Sheffield University in 1988. I have been a French tutor since 1991 and along with private teaching, I also worked 14 years for the Adult Education Centre at 4 different venues in Surrey, as well as managing my own business as a translator.

My lessons are catered for any age and level, from total beginners to advanced or fluent speakers. I work on all aspects of the language: speaking, listening, reading and writing, and will always adapt the lessons according to what the tutee wants to achieve.

I am a French National who came over to the UK in 1984 to further my academic education and become bilingual. I am also a British citizen.

Having a high knowledge of the French language, I have a passion, not only for the language but for helping people improve and achieve their goals. Over the years, I have helped many people with individual lessons as well as group teaching. I can also do online teaching via Zoom, but I do prefer face to face.

I am friendly with a positive and dynamic attitude and I always adapt my teaching to the needs and learning abilities of each of my students.

I use many different types of materials to make the lessons fun and varied; books, games, CDs, exercises etc.
