Just to explain further on one of the skills that most of the parents is concerned about is lesson planning, how i will be carrying out my lessons.
I introduce a topic citing examples and making sure we are on the same page with my students, when they seem to have understood i put them to an exercise to see how much they have grasped. I assess their performance by marking their work and give them a score. If need be we revise together to make corrections for those who didn't get it right. After completing a certain topic then come the major part of a short test to now measure my students performance and to also make them apply all the knowledge they would have obtained. I also learn from my students as they might have figured different formulas on their own as you are aware there are so many ways to kill a cat.
