I have taught about 25 years at all levels, mainly for students 18 and over, especially at university level such as in English for Academic Purposes and English for Special Purposes for international students. As I have helped students prepare for the IELTS and other tests and exams, I know the programmes used so that students receive the required input and practice. In addition, I have studied business management and have worked with students in business schools, ranging from foundation to masters level.
Being very patient, supportive and motivating, I know how to inspire students and provide them with interesting lessons based on their needs and goals so that they can improve as quickly as possible. The lessons are student-centred and use various materials, both texts and videos, encouraging students to be critical thinkers and autonomous learners. I correct exercices and all homework during class time or sent to me outside class.
I am also used to working with adults of any level and with various nationalities to improve their general English or to give them a better chance to apply for better jobs or be accepted for training courses or pass exams. The content of the lessons would depend on the students' level and needs. For example, I have helped trainees write letters, prepare for interviews or improve their professional English if they were already working.
Finally, I have worked with secondary students preparing for exams such as the GCSE and A level, following the national or school curricula.
