Hello there! It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Conor, and I am a certified English tutor with TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualifications. Originally from Los Angeles, California, I am passionate about sharing my love for the English language with my students. When I'm not teaching, you can find me catching waves while surfing, buried in a book, or exploring new destinations.

Having learned Spanish myself, I can understand the challenges and frustrations that come with learning a new language. With this in mind, I strive to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment that encourages my students to build confidence and improve their skills in English.

I have extensive experience tutoring grade school children and high school math, as well as working as a mentor at Oracle in the business world. My approach to teaching is centered on building proficiency, improving pronunciation, and sounding more like a native speaker. While I love teaching through conversation, I believe it's essential to incorporate reading, writing, and listening exercises into my lessons to provide a comprehensive learning experience.
