Conor Martin

I am a second year French student at The University of Edinburgh. I have been learning French for years now, and love the language, and all of the literature and culture that comes with it.

I believe that I can use what I have learnt over the years at School and University to really help you on your journey to mastering French at school. I achieved a grade 9 at GCSE, and an A* at A-Level, and I am currently on track to achieve a first class grade in my degree. Yea I have a bank of notes and other materials which I can share in our lessons to help you achieve your goals.

I can teach pupils from ages 8-18, starting with the very basics required for the 11+ level, through to GCSE and A level. I can offer conversation classes, in which we can focus on grammatical correctness and fluency, in order to practice for speaking exams. Furthermore, we can zoom in on the errors you may make in reading and writing, to help you improve on the more complex grammatical points and nuances in French. I can also tutor you in whatever literature and film component comes with your exams. Alongside this I am sure I will be able to point you towards fun and interesting books and films in French that will help you increase the pace at which you learn.

My tuition can be tailored to whatever your requirements are, and we do not have to be officially working towards an examination. I do hope that you find my lessons to be useful, competitively priced, and enjoyable.
