I teach piano and saxophone, both classical and jazz, as well as music theory. I am happy to teach students of all ages and abilities from first-time beginners to grade 8 and upwards (although taking grade exams is not necessary if the student doesn't need them!)

I usually teach either 30-minute or 1-hour lessons at students' own homes, although longer lessons can be provided for more advanced students if needed.

I have been playing the piano for over twenty years now, and the saxophone for fifteen, starting classically but switching to jazz as a teenager. I graduated from the University of Manchester in 2017 with a BA in Music and Drama and, more importantly, valuable experience as a player, composer, bandleader and arranger. I have since have gone on to lead several bands, as well as playing on cruise ships and appearing in a variety of stage and TV productions.
