In my experience, depending on what area of the language you are looking to improve upon, practice is always the best approach! I typically would request that you choose a topic that you are focusing on and based on that I can put together exercises in different formats for us to work on together during the lesson. This way, I can assess what areas need to be improved and those that don't. Depending on your level, I have plenty of tools and resources available to help your progress both during lessons and as daily tasks to build up your knowledge of the language.
