Trained in active listening, leadership, and presentation, I like to set up a personalised plan for the goals we set together. By identifying strengths and weaknesses in understanding and learning, we can deliver the required content in a way that's tailored to you. To me, it's important to go through practice repeatedly; I'm happy to create and assess practice questions aligned with the syllabus and mark schemes to ensure you're well-prepared.

With experience in clinical psychology, I offer industry insight, applying academic research and healthcare practice to our sessions. Connecting concepts is crucial for creating strong arguments, which examiners appreciate. Integrating medicine and clinical psychology with behavioural, cognitive, and biological psychology offers a comprehensive understanding and equips you to tackle any question.

I'm deeply passionate about my subject. As a patient, caring, and inclusive tutor, I aim to foster an informal yet excellent learning environment. My background includes roles as a telephone well-being practitioner, healthcare assistant, assistant psychologist, and research assistant, all while earning my psychology degree from Newcastle University.

Additionally, my ability to provide clear explanations, break down complex topics, and encourage critical thinking helps students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. I also incorporate feedback regularly to adjust my teaching methods, ensuring each session is as effective as possible.
Throughout my education, I've helped my friends by looking over their work teaching workshops to groups and helping them to achieve their best!

I am excited about teaching, working with students, and sharing my knowledge and passion. I promise to be reliable, punctual, and, most importantly, to listen to you.
