Content-wise, I offer (all optional) to those of basic computer literacy tutoring on how to set up and effectively utilise an integrated development environment (mainly VSCode), how to think like a programmer, problem solving in code, as well as education in two very different programming languages (first Python and then Rust), to compare and contrast them, and to show how knowing one language teaches you how to program in others. Furthermore, I will adjust the content of the lessons immediately based on feedback.
I have been programming for 6+ years. In that time I have become proficient in several programming languages and tutored my peers and juniors at GCSE level. At GCSE and now A-level, I have experience as the leader of my institution's programming club, teaching members the basics of programming.
Lessons shall be taught in a casual setting. There will be no strict "curriculum", however I will pre-plan lesson content based on what I feel is most important to cover in both the long and short terms. I prefer a relaxed sense of responsibility for both myself and the person I'm tutoring; I feel it's more conducive to learning with enjoyment than alternate styles of teaching.
I am open to using the software of your choice to undergo the lessons, be it discord or some other, provided it has the capacity for screen sharing.
If you would like to be taught a programming language that I am less familiar with, I will learn it myself and then teach it.
