I'm a Careers Coach with over 7 years of experience tutoring. I have always loved Maths and my goal is to encourage my students to also love maths and to actually enjoy it rather than endure it.
I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals and surpass your predicted grades by at least one grade higher.

My lessons will be structured based on how you learn best, whether through explanations and then worked examples for you to receive feedback or practising exam questions together to build confidence. I will start with foundational skills to see your current attainment and then help you to progress from there.

This will consist of quick-fire questions to warm up and set an enjoyable, fun pace for the session. Then, we will look at a particular key part of the curriculum to focus on, do practice questions together and then individually, to build confidence and then reinforce your own understanding of the concept. I may also leave you with a few questions at the end of the session to look through and perhaps practice before the next session so that if there are any lasting concerns, they can be revisited during the next session before moving on to the next.

I will help you to achieve your goals by highlighting what is needed to get there, what is expected of you as a student. My goal is to help instil the academic knowledge and expertise you need in order to gain your desired grade.
