I have 30 years experience of teaching biology and human physiology with great academic results.

I enjoy making complex biological concepts and processes understandable by breaking them down to the key aspects then building up knowledge and confidence with repetition and everyday examples for context.

Once I know which part of any syllabus we are studying (GCSE to A level to undergraduate) I can check the key parts, so your learning is relevant and appropriate for you to pass the course as best you can.

I use terminology, lists and bullet points, diagrams, flow charts and then more diagrams in this very visual subject. Also aide memoires to help you learn vocabulary and use it confidently. Mind maps can help with essay plans and longer exam questions too.

Biology is amazingly interesting and I enjoy sharing this with students of all levels in a positive, memorable and often humorous way.
