I work on the principle of learning through practical and visual tasks before exploring abstract concepts. Learning should be fun with just the right level of support and challenge. I try to work from your interests and I will help you with the anxieties of learning. An example lesson might include:
- pre warning about questions to be explored
- visual quiz to introduce a concept, such as how to start a conversation at work
- video clips to discuss and identify positive or negative examples of communication
- Use a prompt sheet to model conversation starters and provide encouragement and feedback
- Suggested follow up tasks
- Access to the lesson resources afterwards
