Hello!

I am an ICAEW Chartered Accountant, (qualified with KPMG) and hold a BSC in Accounting (2:1) from Durham University. In addition, I obtained an A in my Maths A-Level and GCSE.

I would like to support primary students who are struggling with maths, as I have seen my step-daughter (aged 6) struggle and have supported her way of learning to allow her to excel.

I have previously tutored mathematics for primary school students and have also coached athletics and gymnastics for primary school students.

I like tailoring learning to the students needs and how they prefer to learn. I am passionate about making learning creative, hands-on and visual. I am prepared to make resources and be equipped with different methods to use during the lessons, in order to keep students engaged and their minds active. I am enthusiastic about education and would love to help primary students achieve their goals.

Trial sessions are at a reduced rate and allow you to be sure that I'm the right tutor for your child. We will also discuss any concerns you or their teacher may have, allowing me to tailor a learning plan for their sessions.

I can provide both online and face to face sessions, however I believe to get the most out of sessions, face to face are more important for younger children as lots of my work will involve visualisation in order to bring the maths to life.
