My experiences as a a GCSE and A level history student have given me a solid grounding in teaching methods for history sand what is needed to succeed in the respective curriculums.

My experiences as a a GCSE and A level history student have given me a solid grounding in teaching methods for history sand what is needed to succeed in the respective curriculums.

My lessons would have less of a focus on just presenting and retaining simple facts, I would make history as engaging as possible and show students how the lessons of the past can teach us much about today and the future.

Varying yet structured lesson styles would be my choice of teaching, using a blend of textbook materials, videos, source work and quizzes as well as interactive discussions looking at deeper themes of a topic.
